We’re evolving. We’re developing. We’re growing faster than ever. But somewhere along the way, we’ve also normalized living under constant pressure.
Every industry is chasing targets, performance, and growth. The pharmaceutical industry is no different. Behind every medicine that reaches a patient is a chain of people working under deadlines and expectations.
The medical representative strives to achieve sales targets. The distributor works to balance inventory, payments, and availability. The pharmacist manages patients, stock, compliance, and daily operations.
Each one is trying to do their best. Ironically, we’re part of an industry that provides medicines for stress, anxiety, and mental health. Yet many of the people helping deliver those medicines quietly carry stress of their own.
This isn’t about blaming any profession or questioning progress. Development is important. Growth is necessary. But perhaps real progress isn’t measured only by higher sales or bigger targets. It’s also measured by how well we support the people who make our healthcare system work every single day.
A healthy healthcare system should care not only for patients, but also for the people standing behind the counter, behind the warehouse, and on the road. Because healthier professionals build healthier communities.
What does progress mean if the people driving it are constantly under pressure?
